Everything you need to know about Pond.

Which apps does it work with?

iMessage, Gmail, Google Calendar, Slack, Google Sheets and Excel, Notes, Reminders, Linear, Notion, and any website you’re signed in to in Chrome. Scriptable Mac apps are learned at runtime from their own dictionaries, so nothing is hard-coded per app.

Will it send anything without me?

No. Messages, posts, invitations and deletions appear as an editable draft card. Click Send, press ⌘↩, or hold fn and say “send it.” Saying anything else sends your words back as feedback, and cancelling clears whatever Pond typed.

Does it take over my screen?

No. Pond works in the background: a private, invisible copy of your browser for websites, and background Accessibility for desktop apps. It doesn’t steal focus, switch your windows or move your cursor.

Does it write code?

No, by design. Pond is a router. Coding, writing and research go to a new Claude Code or Codex session, and Pond tells you when that session finishes or needs your input.

Where is my data kept?

On your Mac. Your memory of past requests, the people index and the wiki Pond keeps about how you work are stored locally, and you can clear memory from the menu bar at any time.
